Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Splashtop is used primarily for situations where the VPN isn't available. It is used primarily by me to remotely perform the company's accounting function off hours.

No real ROI on business objectives
Huge time saver for me, which does represent a real return

Support Rating

I have to be neutral on this point. The application is very easy to set up and use, and therefore, there was no support required.

Totally feel secure using the platform. Password protection is required every time I log in and I can set the screen at the remote location to black out so no one in the office can see what I'm doing.

Very quick, as noted before with no tech support required.

Yes - LogMeIn was being used by my office fairly regularly. Their pricing went up dramatically, and I started looking for a more reasonable solution which led me to Splashtop.

Likelihood to Recommend

I have used other programs such as LogMeIn, Go To My PC, and Team Viewer and all of them had similar shortcomings such as remote printing and remote speakers. Splashtop does as good a job, or better than the others for a fraction of the cost.
