Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

I was introduced to Splashtop at a previous employer where I was the IT Manager. It was crucial to my everyday work in managing servers and providing on-demand support for end-users. When I transitioned to self-employed IT, I got my own subscription to manage small clients and provide on-demand (SOS) support. In today's remote work landscape, Splashtop has invaluable features for supporting customers both within the office and in their remote workspaces. Its feature set rivals that of their higher-priced competitors.
  • Remote Control of all PCs and Macs
  • Easy File Transfers between technician workstation and remote end user
  • Smart & Easy "groupings" of client PCs and Servers
  • Easy & Fast On Demand Remote setup (SOS agent is a breeze to install for end user)
  • Better SOS initial setup for Macs
  • Better passthrough for Windows admin authentication
  • More "health" monitoring & reporting of systems (more reporting features)
  • Low Cost of Ownership takes the stress out of managing multiple workstations across various locations.
  • Easy to deploy agents (managed and unmanaged) has saved me countless hours (and gas) in driving around town to support clients.
  • Remote management like this allows me to work "side by side" with clients I am teaching & supporting without hovering over each other at a desk.
I have never had the need to contact Splashtop support. I will say that the email marketing blasts are kept low and informative - so they are NOT a nuisance.
Splashtop's easy to install SOS agent provides my clients with peace of mind that these are one-time only interactions. I appreciate the extra features in the managed module for authenticating sessions and enabling different "admin" credentials as needed. The extra feature for a passcode is also welcome for more security-minded clients as well.
Splashtop setup was a breeze! Even adding additional features took only moments - my account was updated immediately upon payment. I was pleasantly surprised.
Yes - I had previously used the much more expensive LogMeIn solution. Splashtop is considerably less to own and provides all the same valuable features. Splashtop's model for adding features and technicians is also smart and affordable.

Splashtop is very well suited for on-demand remote support of Windows PCs. End users can be sitting at home, at a coffee shop and within minutes have the one-time SOS agent self-installed on their systems, ready to be assisted by an IT Pro. Splashtop is also very good at managing a fleet of office workstations in easy to "see" workgroups. A technician can readily access PCs/Servers across many departments, office locations, even different clients! I would like to see more "reporting" and analytic features that can be presented to the C-Level suite.
