Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

Our 3 administrative employees use Splashtop anywhere from 3-5 days a week. With the impact of Covid, we control the amount of administrative staff that is in the office, at any given time, by allowing them to work from home at least 1 day a week. This is where Splashtop Enterprise has been a lifesaver. Those working from home are able to quickly connect to their computers from home and have access to all of the information on their work computers. It is just like you are in the office and have access to all of your programs and files at your fingertips. It has really helped us to keep people working and to help control the possible spread of the virus.

Pros

  • Ease of use. - Super easy to login from any computer.
  • No disconnects - Have not had any problem with getting disconnected.
  • Always on - I leave the app open on my work computer at all times.

Cons

  • Setup directions - was a little confused on what had to be done on both ends to use.
  • Helps relieve the stress of 9 hour days on our admin staff.
  • Admin staff can relax and get work done without being interrupted.
Have never had to contact them.
Splashtop Enterprise meets all of our security needs, by only allowing one user by name and sign in. I like the device verification feature, believe that keeps us safe from any bots being able to gain access. All keeps us safe from any hackers gaining access.
I believe it only took about 15 minutes tops to be up and running with Splashtop Enterprise across both devices that I use it on.
Yes - Originally we were using TeamViewer, which was free at the time. But when the pandemic really started to gear up with more people working remotely, they decided to charge everybody. We looked around and found Splashtop Enterprise, it was cheaper and had more features to it than TeamViewer. Was an overall better fit for our non-profit business.

It works great for what we, as a non-profit daycare, need. I am not sure if it would suit all types of business but I would imagine it would. It is super easy to use and has no lag time or any disconnects.
