Splashtop is the perfect tools for software developers providing customer support and to maintain their servers.
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
I used Splashtop primarily to provide support to other software developers or administrate remote servers. Splashtop makes it very easy to install its remote software so you can connect to other systems easily. Administration of remote computers is possible using a console that is accessible in any Web browser. Very convenient! It is not too difficult for users to set up their own computer so you can access it using Splashtop. My main point at first to look at Splashtop was the fair licensing, pricing, and payment options available. Even as a small business company, you can afford to use Splashtop without incurring a high monthly fee like with other remote products. Splashtop has always been reliable and the picture quality was outstanding. I was also able to interact with remote systems without any lag and was also able to execute tasks that require security elevation. Some remote tools only allow you to act as a user, not as an administrator.
Pros
- Setup
- Customization
- Picture Quality
Cons
- Provide different versions of the Splashtop software to just view a remote site
- Ability to maintain remote servers world-wide easily
- Provide better customer support
Very reliable, I did not encounter any outages.
After getting to know the Web console to customize the product, you are ready to go. I would say, after 2 hours most system administrators and software developers can get started.
Yes - It replaced TeamViewer. As said in the review, the fair pricing options for smaller companies were the main draw at first. Later, also the features were more to what we needed compared to other products as well.
