Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I currently use Softdent from my phone and laptop to access needed patient and charting info while I am not in the office. This enables me to send needed referrals and view other items when I am not in the office. I am also able to create business and accounting reports that help me with my taxes and collections projections.

Unable to restart computer remotely, can only wake from sleep or lock screen
Very Wifi/internet dependent and doesn't work as well with a weaker signal

Return on Investment

I can easily access information from home that I would otherwise have to go into the office to view.
I can take care of and catch up on work at home and not get farther behind, increasing my stress for the next day.
I have been able to more easily send and receive documents and add them to patient records without having to be at the office.

Support Rating

Honestly, I've never had to contact support directly. I was able to run a quick question by my IT person, but otherwise, I've never had any issues with Splashtop.

Splashtop Security

I like how customizable Splashtop is regarding login options, such as the Face ID for iPhone and Touch ID for laptops and iPad. I do feel that it is very secure. The only place where I could make a comment regarding security is the fact that the computer you are remoting into must be either in sleep mode or locked in order to gain access. I understand that logistically there may not be a way to access a computer that is not powered on, but needing to have to a computer on at all times could be a concern in some situations.

Onboarding with Splashtop

I was able to get up and running very quickly with the help of my IT person. I must say that when I decided to use Splashtop on my phone and iPad, I was able to quickly download the apps and easily set them up myself.

Likelihood to Recommend

Splashtop is excellent for remoting into work computers from home and also working between different operating systems and mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. If there is not a constant internet connection to the computers that you are remoting into, Splashtop wouldn't be appropriate. Also, if the computers cannot stay in sleep or locked mode, you will be unable to access them if they are turned off.
