Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

I currently use Softdent from my phone and laptop to access needed patient and charting info while I am not in the office. This enables me to send needed referrals and view other items when I am not in the office. I am also able to create business and accounting reports that help me with my taxes and collections projections.

  • Slow to load on ocassion
  • Unable to restart computer remotely, can only wake from sleep or lock screen
  • Very Wifi/internet dependent and doesn't work as well with a weaker signal
  • I can easily access information from home that I would otherwise have to go into the office to view.
  • I can take care of and catch up on work at home and not get farther behind, increasing my stress for the next day.
  • I have been able to more easily send and receive documents and add them to patient records without having to be at the office.
Honestly, I've never had to contact support directly. I was able to run a quick question by my IT person, but otherwise, I've never had any issues with Splashtop.

Splashtop is excellent for remoting into work computers from home and also working between different operating systems and mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. If there is not a constant internet connection to the computers that you are remoting into, Splashtop wouldn't be appropriate. Also, if the computers cannot stay in sleep or locked mode, you will be unable to access them if they are turned off.
