Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise

The entire Vessel Operations team is using Splashtop remote desktop to work remotely, whether from home, on the road, or at the port. We have expensive propriety software on our work computers, and are able to keep licensing costs down by connecting remotely. We have had zero issues with Splashtop Enterprise. It just works.

Pros

  • Excellent dual monitor support.
  • Web based management console.
  • Multiple licensing tiers.

Cons

  • Haven't really had any problems.
  • Allowed us to install expensive proprietary software just on work computers.
  • Allowed busy vessel agents to work efficiently from wherever they are.
  • Splashtop Enterprise is reasonably priced.
Only had one issue, and because the website is well designed, we were able to resolve the issue without calling in and waiting on hold.
Splashtop Enterprise meets our needs in terms of providing secure remote access. Splashtop Enterprise's security features are robust. In particular, device verification, two-factor authentication, and encryption are industry standards.
Onboarding with Splashtop Enterprise took about 15 minutes.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
Has better multiple monitor support than the MS terminal services client. The client is easier to use than CITRIX. We have not had any problems with Splashtop Enterprise.
