Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
Splashtop is used to remotely support both staff and students at our school. During remote learning, it has become an invaluable tool in continued education and employment for us. The tool is easy to use and works every time, add in the SOS component for other devices and we have a complete solution for remote support and all up a fraction of the cost of some alternatives.
Pros
- Working from home and remoting into office computers.
- Remotely supporting staff and students
- Remotely managing servers
Cons
- Better ui
- Better support for screen resolutions
- Auto detect when a proxy is being used
- Splashtop has allowed us to minimize both staff and student interruptions and downtime, which is immeasurable for a school.
- Reduced stress due to quick, responsive support improves user wellbeing
Splashtop's device verification and two-factor authentication provide the security we need to give us confidence in running the product on internal servers. Having software with appropriate security is of the utmost importance to us and we feel Splashtop has done more than enough to give us the peace of mind that we require.
Onboarding for us was quick and seamless, deploying the software through either scam, a mobile device manager or group policy made the process pretty simple, in some odd cases, we were able to provide staff with simple instructions and an installation package to self deploy. Overall it was simple and made our quick transition to remote work/learning a lot less stressful.
