Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring is being used at our organization as a complete monitoring solution. The Information & communication technology department has implemented the tool at the core levels of the data center operations including servers, networking devices, and the virtualized environment that hosts the virtual machine. With its help, we are able to get real-time data, logs, metrics from all the resources in the form of analytical dashboards, reports, logs, and alerts, providing a robust and proactive monitoring and alerting system.

  • Integration with third party tool.
  • Root cause analysis results could be more intuitive.
  • It has improved the Service Level Agreement.
  • The response time to resolve the issue has been decreased exponentially.
  • There is a new resolution category now i.e. zero call resolution which is a result of the AI-driven feature that helps resolve things before they really occur.

The real-time usage of the resources provides an edge to the IT administrator. With its help, it is possible to resolve problems before they could occur which means a resolution at Level Zero. The alerting platform understands the patterns and provides recommendations in the same cadence that helps solve issues at blazing fast times.
The tool has an easy interface that allows all the MACD features (Modify, Add, Change, Delete) to be performed from a centralized management console having an interactive graphical user interface.
The alerting algorithms and the historical anomalies detection prevents the Infrastructure from downtime. The IT Admins get reporting at the right time before things tend to fail thereby helping the admins to maintain the highly available environment all the time.
The false alert can be easily avoided as the AI-driven mechanism understand the cadence of the instances and provide meaningful recommendations on the same based on the history of its occurrence.
