Overall Satisfaction with Squarespace
SquareSpace is being used by the marketing department of our Independent Research Group. They setup a marketing site to showcase our research team and the multiple projects that they are working on. We are keeping this site separate from our organization site as we want to create a unique identify for this smaller research group to gain traction for the multiple projects.
- Easy to set up initially
- Learning curve isn't steep to access the dashboard features
- Decent Analytics to keep track of basic traffic data that helps in making decisions.
- Needs more integrations from other web friendly platform tools.
- Not innovating fast enough - I feel their updates aren't creative enough
- Better Video & multimedia integration.
- Low overhead cost - no special Web Dev Team required
- Faster updates to the site as it can be done easily without much effort
- Analytics help make better marketing decisions for the future of the org.
- Wix, WordPress, Magento Commerce and part of Adobe Commerce Cloud
Myself and my team have used more robust web development platforms for bigger organization presence on the web. However that has always required more time, effort and talent by using web developers to setup and add content to the sites. With squarespace, a site can be setup in less than an hour and any of our team members can keep working on the sites throughout the course of our project to keep it updated. The platform is much easier to use and its very user friendly.
