Overall Satisfaction with StarWind HyperConverged Appliance (HCA)

It is being used across the organization. We had experienced some data loss due to a failed backup and knew that we needed to address that in the future. Not only does it give us redundancy on-site (mirrored HA servers) it brought us up to an all-flash solution as well. The performance is amazing.
  • StarWind HCA just flat out works. It is a simple solution for a business on a budget!
  • Support Support Support. Their support is second to none. I never have to worry about contacting their support because I know they will take care of us.
  • The all-flash solution brought us to a new level of speed and under budget!
  • Their pre-install questionnaire could be a little more clear on what they are asking.
  • When ordering the servers, I would have liked the option to include the not-included cable management arms.
  • Increased Speed! We are all flash now!
  • Data redundancy with 2 replicated sets of data, an on-site backup, and a cloud backup.
We had a small issue during configuration. Their support contacted me right away to let me know. It was something I had done and they caught it quickly.
ZERO outages since installation. In fact, our migration was even done with a 99.99% uptime. The users never even knew.
While Nutanix may have more bells and whistles with their software, it was just at a price point we could not afford. Starwind filled that gap and then some.
Veeam Backup & Replication
StarWind is the PERFECT fit for a smaller business that is looking for an affordable but well-supported HCI solution. We looked at several other vendors and StarWind blew them all away with their pricing and support. Their setup support and migration support were the best. I was able to work with the same person the whole time.
