Overall Satisfaction with Submittable

I use it as a platform for students to submit art portfolios to competitions and exhibitions. I also use it for judges to make comments while reviewing the portfolios. I use it to keep track of the art and the artist's contact information, and all the correspondence with the artists. I am using it for a research study to create surveys for art galleries.
  • It is a great filing system for art work
  • It is easy to create applications
  • Students find it easy to submit the applications
  • It allows for a wide variety of file formats
  • it is an efficient way to communicate with the artists
  • It is an efficient way to provide applications to the judges
  • It is unwieldy to sort the applications
  • It is not easy to extract information for a spreadsheet
  • There is no way to analyze a survey from within the platform
  • The default charts that can be generated are useless
  • Only some answers can be sorted and extracted for analysis; everything else must be painstakingly done by hand
  • Faster to launch a competition
I had no trouble learning to do most things on it.
I guess so. It has helped me be able to respond to questions efficiently because all the information about their applications is right there.
I selected Submittable because it accepted the widest range of file types.
