Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors Learning

My client chose Success Factors (My Recruit) for its application tracking system. The Human Resource and Recruiting department uses it to track applicants from start to finish. The Recruiters and Coordinators use it to send letters and assessment tests and move the applicant through the screening to the offer phase. The Human Resource department uses it to send offer and rejection letters and move the rest of the hire process. Success Factors has an easy way to see where the applicant is in the process

  • It fairly easy to learn.
  • It is not always user friendly for the applicant. Candidates are not always sure they applied correctly
  • Candidates are not always able to upload resumes well especially from mobile devices
  • Some people find it hard to learn
  • Easier to track the candidate through the hiring process
  • Easier to send letters to the candidate
  • Candidates have more options to apply
As mentioned before, I didn't have input into the selection process. However, I found that SuccessFactors is easier to use than other products such as Brass Ring. Brass Ring is not user friendly and requires a lot of training. Applicants told me that they have problems applying to the Brass Ring application I have fewer complaints with SuccessFactors. However, some people have problems uploading their resumes or do not complete the application.
I did not have any input into the selection process. The client was looking for a product that was more user friendly and where people could apply using social media sites such as LinkedIn. However as a user, I find SuccessFactors a lot easier than other applicant tracking systems. It didn't require as much training as Brass Ring. Applicants and jobs are easier to find than in Taleo.

Using SAP SuccessFactors Learning

I don't have any say into whether or not the client will renew the use [of SuccessFactors]. However, they will renew it if they feel that candidates want to apply to the system. Some candidates give up applying to a position because it is too difficult and they get frustrated with the application.
