Overall Satisfaction

We have used SurveyMonkey on our sales strategy team at Cars.com to help understand the sales perspective with certain initiatives released throughout the year.
  • Ease of use -- SurveyMonkey is user-friendly, in both creating and implementing surveys.
  • Device adaptability -- SurveyMonkey can be used with iPads (and likely other tablets) as well as PC's.
  • Complexity -- SurveyMonkey is not well set up for complex surveys, with multiple layers of filtering or needing complex skip logic. SurveyMonkey works for relatively simple and straightforward surveys, but it might struggle with longer, more complex needs.
  • Excel output -- I'd like to see SurveyMonkey export into a later version of Excel than 2003.
  • We have attained a better understanding of the sales lens on recent initiatives through the surveys we've administered.
I have also used Qualtrics in another role, which is a better, more advanced, cleaner, but much more expensive tool. Which to be used depends on the needs.
SurveyMonkey has generally fit the team's needs thus far.
It would depend on the colleague's needs. If budget is relatively small and a complex survey is not needed, I would recommend SurveyMonkey. If the needs are greater than that I would go another route.
