Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SurveyMonkey to prepare and market all of our surveys. We find it's not only useful in surveying our clientele, but collecting employee data as well.

Pros and Cons

Creating Surveys - Endless customization features to fit any size business
Marketing Surveys - Collect both consumer and employee data points
Array of Features - Unique Plans for individuals as well as corporations

Subscription service is not for everyone - Worth looking into before fully committing
Survey Implementation - Limitations on free plans can be severe
Refund policy - Customer service cuts serious corners

Return on Investment

Implementing SurveyMonkey had an overall positive impact (+4% ROI) on our business objectives
The data we collected via SurveyMonkey was invaluable and key program changes were made based solely upon this research

Alternatives Considered

Qualtrics Employee Experience, Qualtrics CoreXM and REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture)

REDCap and Qualtrics ahave implemented a higher authorization and security standard, therefore making them the safer platform to use.

SurveyMonkey is extremely easy to use. It requires little to no advanced computer and/or IT skills therefore the user can quickly begin implementing surveys and polls driving customer and employee engagement.

Support Rating

SurveyMonkey’s customer service cuts serious corners. This has, in my opinion, been their biggest downfall. Though they have improved some in recent years, there is still very little support, especially when it comes to their subscription services.

Likelihood to Recommend

SurveyMonkey makes it easy to create simple surveys, quizzes, and polls to collect data from customers as well as employees. SurveyMonkey would be best geared towards smaller, independent, and non-profit organizations in need of basic data collection and research creation
