I'm not sure how it's being used in my organization, but as an IT reseller it's being used in a number of my customers environments to protect their data from threats.

- Symantec has a very competitive product. I never hear customer complaints around functionality or protection.
- For my customers who purchase Symantec products they see an increase in efficiency on the employee side and customer facing side of their businesses.

Symantec does have a leg up on the competitors if cost isn't a factor for a customer. However, even Symantec's price point is pretty compatible.
