Overall Satisfaction with Tableau Desktop

Tableau is being used by our organization across all levels. From shop floor to the chefs office. We visualize quality data as well as sales figures. It's the most used BI tool in our organization.
  • Nice UI for designers and users.
  • Easy to create new dashboards.
  • A wide range of connectivity.
  • Handling large data sets.
  • New insights to our data.
  • People are getting used to work[ing] with their data again.
Well, Tableau has a nicer UI compared to Spotfire. But the main reason why Tableau stacked against the other was the pricing.

Do you think Tableau Desktop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Tableau Desktop's feature set?

Yes

Did Tableau Desktop live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Tableau Desktop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Tableau Desktop again?

Yes

Tableau is easy to use and you can start very quickly with analyzing your data.
We have [been] running a big community for Tableau users and you can find a lot resources with help and examples on the web.
Never had contact to Tableau support due the fact that we have our own Tableau IT in-house.
Tableau is good with getting an overview over your data. Load the data and drag'n'drop your data to build nice charts. You see at a glance where you're missing data or [where] the data quality is bad.
