Overall Satisfaction with Tableau Desktop

Tableau Desktop has proven to be an invaluable resource for us. It can collect data like no other system. We use it almost every day to gather data and handle large datasets online using spreadsheets or other tools without programming skills. We solved our business problems, analyzed and shared data within teams, and identified trends. It gives us a glimpse into the future of the market. Tableau, a business intelligence (BI) tool for non-IT users, enables them to create dashboards. It provides a variety of graphs, charts, maps, and plots that are integrated into our data. It can connect to a server and import data from it. We use Tableau Desktop to enhance our analysis because it has a beautiful aesthetic.
  • It serves as a central repository for all of the company's data.
  • Intuitive and uncomplicated data management is the norm here.
  • With this tool, it is simple to discover and explore information.
  • Tableau's impressive data visualization capabilities allow it to deal with large data sets.
  • Data visualization of a million rows is possible without affecting the dashboard's performance.
  • There are times when the visualization is a bit dull.
  • The creator determines the user-friendliness of data boards.
  • It would be greatly appreciated if the refresh timer could be increased.
  • In terms of user experience and interface design, I'm not convinced.
  • Tableau makes it possible for me to transform large databases into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphs.
  • It is quick and provides business intelligence reports to forecast sales and market demand.
  • Given the scope of the problem, Tableau was able to resolve it.
  • Logistical challenges arise, particularly concerning cost and availability.
For complex data visualization, Tableau Desktop shines. Even though it uses highly granular databases, it has a powerful engine that can process large amounts of data quickly and produce high-quality charts. It has the broadest range of APIs and is extremely simple. The platform is constantly updated to fix any new issues that may arise.

Would you buy Tableau Desktop again?

Yes

Tableau Desktop has an excellent user interface. It has all the essential elements to synthesize actions and use. It has advanced components to improve our company’s structure and make it easier. Communication and visualization of trends have been beneficial. It is possible to create a table or a graph. It’s very customizable, and I love visual learning. The plan’s implementation took some time and provided little support. That being said, the effort was worth it.
Without payment, Tableau will not provide customer support. Salesforce has purchased the community forums for the Tableau software. Forum posts are either unavailable or missing. It isn't easy to contact support, but they're helpful when you can meet or call. Because they weren't trying to sell anything, they were less aggressive. Although they are a great partner, I wish for more cooperation.
Tableau Desktop is an excellent tool for visualizing data. It helps businesses collect and analyze data from spreadsheets and cloud applications like Salesforce and Google Analytics, among separate sources. It makes complex data other reachable to understand by visualizing it. If the company is interested in embracing a self-service culture, it is not convenient. Insufficient useful for economic data extraction and analysis, such as reconciliation and cash transactions, Tableau is less relevant.
