Overall Satisfaction with Talend Data Integration
Talend Data Integration is primarily used by the data warehousing team. While the management of data warehousing in handled by a single team, they work with data sourced from and sent to all departments across the entire organisation - this makes Talend Data Integration a critical software component for our use cases.
- Easy to use interface
- Designing jobs is very straightforward
- Allows the use of custom components to suit specific needs
- Syncing with Git should be made easier
- Can face issues with certain big data spaces
- Support find it difficult to resolve complex issues
- Talend Data Integration has streamlined data warehouse management over the entire organisation.
- A more organised DWH means efficient data usage.
- This cuts down on both cost as well as time.
Most other tools of similar nature work well for small and medium sized data warehouses, but fail to maintain performance for very large data warehouses. However, Talend works decently well on large data as well. On the other hand, there are software tools like Oracle Data Integrator that are especially made for large orgs, and Talend cannot match up to those benchmarks.
