Overall Satisfaction with TalentLMS
We use TalentLMS for our customer training program. As a paid product offering, it's critical that we deliver our training through a high-quality portal with lots of features and high service levels. We've deeply integrated TalentLMS into our other customer systems using the API and other customizations available through custom CSS and JavaScript. If you're looking for a highly customizable platform, TalentLMS is a great option.
- Cost effective
- Easy to deploy/configure/manage
- Would appreciate more functionality in the area of User Certificates (e.g., ability to validate a certificate publicly, ability to lookup a user by a Cert ID, ability to extend or reissue certificates based on different requirements the second time around).
- Some cross-object reporting is limited, which makes more complex report types more difficult. Most common report types are easy to pull and export.
- Dramatically more cost-effective than alternatives, with greater feature sets. Made our eCommerce training deployment a breeze. Hard to attribute an ROI to just the LMS specifically but it would be a high multiple in a period of just a few months.
We evaluated vendors quite a while ago so I don't remember all but there was a shortlist I've added here. TalentLMS was either significantly more cost-effective and/or had a much better feature set. This remains true today from what I've seen at a high level. I mean this when I say the choice was not difficult. Better features at a lower cost; it was a no-brainer. Improvements have happened since and costs have not changed more than is typical with a SaaS product.
