Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

For a small company with 4 remote offices in multiple states and no dedicated IT staff, remote desktop support is difficult. Teamviewer allows us to maintain laptops in the remote facilities with an "always on/available" connection. Support tasks (like printer configuration or desktop training) that otherwise would require travel to the sites can be completed easily with Teamviewer.
  • Always available/on connection option
  • Easy interface
  • Two- part secure login (ID and Password)
  • End User interface is not customizable
  • Ability to hide the installation on remote computers easily
  • Prevents costly site visits
  • Easily initiate remote training
  • Simplified our IT support functions
We have not looked into other alternatives at this time
Larger companies would find better options in a more robust software, but for smaller companies with fewer sites and dedicated computers to support it works great. I would love to see a simple website option rather than just the native software download option.

TeamViewer Security and Support

We support TeamViewer in house and did not purchase any premium support product. It is extremely easy to implement and support with a limited IT staff at smaller companies. If needed, small companies can research problems and find accurate resolutions online and find the help they need quickly.
Our remote offices are staffed only part time, we use TeamViewer to update files and change settings remotely using the automatic connection function. The use of both a user ID and password (pin code) keep the worry of nefarious remote access to a minimum. Upper management with limited IT experience feels more secure with this style of access and ability to "check up" on the remote computers at any time.
We would absolutely use TeamViewer again and would happily recommend it to others. It is extremely simple to use, intuitive for new users and allows us to keep track of remote computers. We do some out of the box style support, and it has worked well for our needs.

Using TeamViewer

3 - Since we have no IT department to speak of, this allows our super users to support our less tech-savvy users
1 - Teamviewer is a simple to use, intuitive remote control software. Very little skill is required to get it up and running.
  • Remote Team Training
  • Preventing site visits for simple configuration issues
  • After hours support with a secure always available connection
  • The software works exactly as designed, no surprise uses. It does exactly what we expect
  • Remote configuration/wiping of computers if an employee is let go
No complaints about the software.
