Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is being used for the IT department. It facilitates the remote control of laptops and desktops regardless of whether the computers are inside or outside of our firewall.
- Remote connection to any laptop, desktop or iPhone /iPad.
- Works well on bandwidth limited connections.
- Easy and secure to use.
- The GUI for the latest version seems less intuitive than previous versions.
- Saves the IT department a great deal of time.
- Over the Internet sessions save time as there is no need to be concerned with VPNs, etc.
I have used numerous remote PC software solutions and TeamViewer is clearly the best that I have used. It is simple, secure and easy for end users to handle. It works well over the internet without a VPN, unlike SMS. It also works well with all monitor sizes and dual monitors. With some remote control software is not easy to switch monitors. End users feel comfortable being able to control the incoming connection with a userID that remains the same and a password that changes from session to session.

TeamViewer is primarily used on our laptops and desktop computers for remote support. The implementation is easy. I am also going to try using it on iPhone and Ipad devices.
WE haven't used this feature.

TeamViewer - An amazing tool that works flawlessly at a reasonable price for an Enterprise solution.
TeamViewer is a very powerful remote support tool. It has great flexibility and works flawlessly without the need for VPN sessions, etc. It also works well as a Service so that one can remote control a device that doesn't have an end user controlling. I would highly recommend it.
Using TeamViewer
20 - Our organization primarily uses Team Viewer to provide remote support to end users. It is a very capable tool as it allows the support staff to change user accounts during the remote session.

Evaluating TeamViewer and Competitors
Yes - We were using the remote tool within Microsoft SCCM. Which was not a very reliable product and required VPN for it to work. TeamViewer blew it out of the water.

I did not purchase premium support, as the experience that I have had without it covers our organizations needs.
One the few occasions that I have needed to place a support call, I have always had an positive experience.
