Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is used weekly, sometimes daily for helping other team members with computer issues. It's a great help with the implementation of new software and training. When a new contractor comes on board, the onboarding process can be overwhelming, and being able to see their computer is a huge help with installation and going forward.
- User friendly.
- Uses little bandwidth.
- Fast log on.
- installation of software
- One-time sign-ons.
- Changing their policy of lock out after so many uses.
- Reduction in costs.
- The program is free for personal use which is helpful for contractors that work from home.
- Yearly cost is high and not cost-effective unless using daily for entire team.
- Zoom
TeamViewer is much easier to use than Zoom. It has just enough features and is simple to install. It really works well for those that are not computer savvy.

TeamViewer Security and Support
We have not purchased support for Teamviewer. If we have an issue with the software, we will typically change computers and it seems to work.
Yes, if we were planning many training sessions or webinars. TeamViewer is higher priced than other computer sharing programs. For small businesses, we need to watch our costs and use what give us the best bang for our buck.

Evaluating TeamViewer and Competitors
Yes - Free Conference call, Go to Meeting and Log me in. We wanted a program that required less commitment. If we have a new project, we can sign up with teamviewer for 1 month to complete our project. With most computer sharing programs, you are required to sign up for one year. We don't really need that for our company. Free Conference call did not really have the reliability needed for our team.
- Price
- Product Usability
- Prior Experience with the Product
Our number one decision was usability. We needed for our team to be able to install and use within a 15 minute window.
If someone is struggling with a software program, we want them to be able to jump onto a call and share their screen with someone for help.
We don't want our team to struggle with computer issues or software.
We might take the time to test other options before choosing one computer sharing program. We found TeamViewer, liked the software and had our team use it and did not look back. Its our go to computer sharing program.
