The Okta Identity Cloud - The clear leader in secure MFA for your Enterprise and much, much more!

The Okta Identity Cloud is leveraged extensively throughout our organization. Features utilized include universal directory capabilities via integration with Azure AD, streamlined cloud application distribution, user self-service password reset capabilities, and the ability to protect all of this ecosystem behind a strong multi-factor authentication offering that is very flexible, standardized (via SAML for example) and secure.

Definitely. This is one of the major selling points that we rely on all the time. With all of the multiple cloud environments that are in play today, there would be multiple user accounts, security settings, and application URLs to administer for users. With The Okta Identity Cloud, all of this is simplified into one streamlined, secure interface that users can sign into one time and have the ability to interact with all of their cloud applications.

We have not had a lot of experience with The Okta Identity Cloud professional services or Education Services. Although we rarely if ever have any issues that require the intervention of our customer success manager they are very responsive when called upon. To me this is a testament to how mature, stable, and easy to setup their product is.

In the almost 3 years I have been a customer of The Okta Identity Cloud, we have not experienced any situations where their services were unavailable and caused our customer base to be locked out of critical applications. We are a global organization that operate in just about every time zone which makes me even more confident in this assessment. This close to 5 9's of uptime has given us the confidence to use The Okta Identity Cloud to manage applications most critical to the organization.

When COVID 19 struck and there was an immediate shift to work from home in order to keep the business operational. The Okta Identity Cloud was tapped to ensure that users were able to securely access critical systems from anywhere in the world. Setup was extremely user-friendly and enabled us to get up and running quickly and keep the business humming along. This was especially critical to a company that is in the business of supplying critical medical products during a Global pandemic.

As a result of COVID-19 and the new hybrid workplace that is here to stay, there has been a focus on making sure that workers and associated systems are secure no matter where they are connecting from. With no traditional network edge, ZeroTrust security for identity practices must be adopted to maintain user security. The Okta Identity Cloud has helped ease this transition by providing a simple approach to migrating our entire user base to best of class MFA which is essential to this model.

The Okta Identity Cloud has greatly simplified the way our users access multiple and disparate cloud-based applications and environments. By providing users the ability to securely sign into one common portal from anywhere in the world while requiring MFA, users can experience a common, simple application portal to seamlessly access all required applications.
