Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize the The Raisers Edge for tracking and prospecting purposes. It is utilized by the Development and Administrative departments. The Raisers Edge is a great tool in finding information from years past, as well as giving a glimpse of what may come in the future. It is a great tool to stay organized.

Raisers Edge is obviously more developed than any of the other fundraising modules out there. You can track almost any gifts/funders and donations you've received. Sometimes, I wish there would be more pop-up menus for things that seem incomplete, or outdated. It's a lot of manual work, but no one seems to be able to do it better.

Likelihood to Renew

I only wish that Raisers Edge would sync better with Mac products. It's still mostly for Windows, and requires a lot of maintenance in order to make it easier for Mac. The search engines can be a little easier to navigate as well. There should also be some information already in place, when searching for records.

Likelihood to Recommend

The Raisers Edge will help organizations keep track of deadlines, funders, and general operating information. It will also help with accounting as well. An organization cannot rely entirely on The Raisers Edge, as sometimes traditional backups of information will be helpful, but it does an excellent job of being able to organize and receive data.
