Overall Satisfaction with The Raiser's Edge

We use Raiser's Edge mostly in Development, Marketing and Finance. It enables us to stay in contact with, track and organize our volunteers, donors and financial information.
  • The integration with the financial software is my favorite aspect of Raiser's Edge. It makes reconciliation easy.
  • Raiser's Edge exports very easily and this helps transfer information and use it to multiple functions.
  • Queries are easy to create with Raiser's Edge and saves time since you do not have to get tech support every time you need to create a query.
  • I don't like uploading gifts in batches. I think this unnecessarily complicates things.
  • It is difficult to get help when you need it. I can't just find training modules.
  • Its not always easy to navigate to/find the maintenance areas you need. Such as defaults and appeals, etc.
  • It makes reconciliation with the finance department quicker and easier.
I've used other products and it has it's advantages and disadvantages. I like that it integrates well, and it exports well. However, I have had better experiences with support from other software.
The Raiser's Edge works for the organization and we are already invested. I think I will become more skilled and adapt to the differences and any difficulties.
