TIBCO Spotfire is a powerful data analysis tool our company uses for data exploration and data visualization. TIBCO Spotfire is flexible when it comes to connecting to varied data sources. Additionally, we deliver data products to our customers. On top of the data, TIBCO Spotfire makes it easy to create template data visualization for our customers to analyze data on the web. These custom views can be quite complex, as TIBCO Spotfire can be extended using Python, R, and JS.

TIBCO Spotfire is much more powerful in terms of data visualization and data connections compared to Microsoft Power BI. Mapping and geographic analysis is another area where TIBCO Spotfire is strong. Perhaps Power BI is the cost effective option. I see both being equally easy to use to onboard new users and clients.

We mainly integrate TIBCO Spotfire with our SQL servers. We have used TIBCO Spotfire to use our custom data services via TIBCO Spotfire calls and IronPython API. The feedback loop between data engineering and data analysis and visualization has been key to the success of Enverus. Then to quickly publish the outputs to customers has been incredible.
