Overall Satisfaction with TimeFox

TimeFox was used to track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. We used it to assign designers to certain projects and tasks to help them be more aware of what was going on with the project. We also used TimeFox to start tracking billable hours on a project which was huge for us. Before this we were not using a time tracking device and this made a huge impact on the company.

I feel that Workamajig excels in the scheduling, task management, and being able to create predecessors areas. Microsoft Project is greate for allocating resources and seeing utilization. TimeFox is good for reporting but falls short in the scheduling area. TimeFox was good for maintaining projects but a file management system would have been great for document control.
For us the calendar needed to be more robust. There were a lot of different deliverables that we track and that calendar didn't meet our expectation. Also, it would have been helpful if the designers had a queue of tasks so they knew what to work on and what was most important. I feel like Workamajig excels in that area.
