Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Tipalti is used by our Finance and Operations departments mainly, but it is utilized for several different areas of which the most prominent is paying our customers, managing their financial details, and tax forms. It makes our work much easier that we do not have to collect, store, and manage this information internally.

Pros and Cons

Tipalti's platform is very user-friendly and clean.
Tipalti has a great customer service team.
It is very easy to manage payments even for someone who is not well versed in finances and accounting.

Many of our users struggle with the tax form, so probably it could be improved and more help could be provided.

Alternatives Considered

I haven't used other softwares that are similar to Tipalti so I cannot make much of a comparison, but Tipalti was selected by our company because it seemed like the most user friendly option. We have been very satisfied over the years and do not think about switching to other similar products.

Support Rating

Since I also work in customer support, I often have to contact Tipalti's team with questions from our users. Tipalti's support team has always been exceptionally helpful and it was a pleasure to communicate with them. I have always received prompt responses to any inquiries and they are excellent at solving our customers' issues within a short time.

Usability

We have always found Tipalti very easy to use and the interface is very clean and straightforward. I particularly like how easy it is to create reports based on different criteria and download them. I gave 9 points only because the services of Tipalti that are embedded in our own platform, like tax forms are sometimes a bit complicated to our users.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would highly recommend Tipalti to anyone who has to manage the payments of a large number of customers all over the world. It is extremely easy to set up and use. I would say it is well suited to anyone who meets the above requirement. I'm not sure about scenarios where it is less appropriate, but maybe for companies that only deal with a few customers.
