Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my previous company I have used it and in the company in
which I am currently working it is used in the information technology
department. I suggested the IT team try this tool and the IT team is glad as no
cyber threat can easily attack our company’s essential files and systems and
our company is secure thoroughly. It is smart enough to detect all kinds of
attacks and saves us from any mishappening.

Pros and Cons

My company was in need of a proactive tool and when it comes to threats one cannot afford a sluggish tool that takes a decade to detect the threat and fortunately Trend micro has an amazing speed of detection.
It fully monitors the network traffic and protects systems in that way too.
Its deployment is easy and has options that are flexible even for the non-IT guy.
Automation makes things easy for us.

The subscription rate is more than the competitors in the market.
One needs more storage capacity to make it work.
Overall it's working well but we haven’t experimented with it against Trojans so I don’t know how effective it is against them. But apart from that, I don’t have any other downside of it in my mind right now.

Return on Investment

Automations and flexible deployment are two great features that have made stuff easy for us.
The whole company environment is safe and secure.
Data files that are confidential are quite secure from any kind of attack.
It is effective against phishing attacks too.
Negative ROI- only its pricing.

Alternatives Considered

Comodo Antivirus

Not much efficient against the advanced kind of viruses like
phishing, ransomware, and Trojans. although the price is highly suitable it's
of no use if it is not fulfilling its promises. and I have seen my company’s
situation so I suggested they go for Deep discovery as I have prior
experience of it and in my tenure as an IT person my previous company didn’t face
any mishap and the credit goes to this tool.
