Overall Satisfaction with Tricentis Tosca
Application migration to modern web user interfaces, API testing for microservices, on-prem to cloud migration of multiple enterprise tools.
Pros
- Fast learning curve
- No code implementations for SMEs
- Distributed executions on agent machines
Cons
- DEX execution stability
- User management for shared repos
- API testing UI experience and process to create new test cases
- Faster testing cycles, reduced by 500%
- More automated scenarios in less time
- Good CI/CD integration for unattended executions
Yes, it has helped our organization to reduce the number of manual test cases drastically, as most SMEs who are not technical will be able to create automated test cases in a short period of time, reducing the execution times for regressions and end to end scenarios. It also provides the capability to track risk coverage by adding requirements with measures to help the team understand the amount of coverage with generated reports.
- Micro Focus UFT One (formerly HP UFT), Selenium, ReadyAPI (formerly soapUI Pro, LoadUI Pro, & Servicev Pro) and Cypress
Mostly the ease of use from day one by introducing the no-code approach for teams with non-technical contributors. Also, the amount of technologies it covers is greater than other tools that are specialized in web-only or API, for example.
