Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
I needed to get an unvarnished review of both positive and negative aspects of using a project management tool, Workfront. I need to know of any suggestions to maximizing the experience of using the software and whether it would be a fit for my company. It is very difficult to get an honest overview from the sales reps, they are obviously trying to highlight the good not the bad.
- To understand my options (i.e. build my short list or long list)
- To compare products
- To determine what to ask a vendor
- To validate vendor claims
- To confirm my decision
- To find evidence to support my recommendation to colleagues or my client
I believe the multiple accounts from a variety of users was extremely helpful. Each of the users detailed their current software solutions and contrasted it with the software we were considering. The implementation was described and even gave certain tips in the training which is very useful should we commit to the purchase of the software.
This is a crucial part of the decision making process as were are discussing within the team if this is the right fit for us.
It was very important that we read the reviews of actual, vetted users of the software. It would be to easy for a company to saturate a user site with fake reviews pushing the negative ones down the list or making it seem as if they're were mainly positive reviews and only a few negative ones.
- I like the vetted check mark - I don't always trust reviews on sites as companies could easily overwhelm a less monitored site with nothing but accolades.
- I like the diversity of the reviewers; small companies, big companies, seasoned veterans, new users all types of endeavors
- I like the in-depth, drilled down feedback. It looked as if the reviewers had thought carefully about what they were writing, did not come across as a flip spur of the moment review.
- So far I think it is a very useful site - maybe some video of the reviewers might be interesting.
I went to other sites and to the company's site. I wanted to get a fair assessment and any info as we are negotiating with the software people.
I felt TrustRadius was very professional looking site, it was clear and easy to navigate. I trusted that the reviews were truly unbiased.
