Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

I used TrustRadius to assist clients in a variety of situations, usually DIY architectural design projects. Software reviews have been helpful for my clients deciding a) whether they want to DIY their own projects and b) which software would work best.
  • The text reviews!
  • The verified user assurance
  • Lesser known software reviews (hard to find reviews on many softwares)
  • I'd like the potential to "reply" to reviews, possibly.
I have not used those other review sites!
Product "star" ratings initially draw me to a specific review. But it is generally the user's experience in text that sways my clients, and me. I will say that an overwhelming star rating one way or the other can be influential, especially when there are hundreds of reviews.
Oh, definitely FINDING reviews for the softwares I use has been difficult. Often times I have either had to take a blind chance on a software or - if expensive - choose not to even give it a try.
[Well suited for] the reviews themselves but also the fact that the types of less popular software (which I generally use) are reviewed. I feel like most of the reviews are done by others in the industry, which means they're professional reviews, typically.
