Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

We worked on analyzing project lifecycle management tools and came across TrustRadius reviews for getting genuine feedback on best tools for large projects in the industry. We came across feedbacks on two critical tools - Jira and Confluence software and also how sales team follow up on demo and questions on those tools and went with the reviews on TrustRadius and we are very happy to go with Jira and Confluence and find our experience match what is there on TR and we can say that they are very genuine reviews.
  • detailed reviews
  • genuine feedback
  • reviews cover data point on important parameter of products
  • comparison of other market leading products
  • info on free / trial periods
  • licence pricing
  • demo videos from trustradius for getting more details on how a tool works
Not all vendors are able to provide details on the pricing at all times. There is also a lack of information on the trial period of software and how many logins are made available during that period. Also how much hand-holding will be provided in the initial period of purchase.
TrustRadius has great details about most of the features of the products and the features are very product specific and not generic. Gartner Peer Insights and IT Central Station are the only other 2 software review services that compare to TR. But still, TR's approach is very much authentic and captures genuine feedbacks.
Not really used them too much but Gartner's Magic Quadrant was used by other teams in my org and they had only good things to say about them. The rankings of products did match with the reviews provided and the comparisons of the products also were accurate or close enough.
We don't always go with the highest-rated product. We went with the feature set and diversity of the product and how it could help meet our goals. A good rating is a rating that answers our questions in terms of a product being good or not good enough for our project.
Initially, we were relying on industry research reports and secondary research but then we came across first-hand user reviews of products and that to users who were using the products on a daily basis and that has helped us choose products based on very informed feedback.
We have benefitted a lot in our org for getting genuine details on products and then making purchase decisions based on them. A lot of buying decisions get kicked off in our org from TrustRadius reviews.
