Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

We considered other well-known antivirus and web protection solutions, such as Eset Nod32, Kaspersky, AVG, Norton, and Avast, but ended up buying McAfee's unlimited device plan for one year. We were eligible for a great deal because of recent hardware purchases, that we couldn't reject. Value/features/performance ratio was very important to use, and this time McAfee gave more value. We'll revisit this question once our one-year plan ends. Till then, looking forward to using McAfee on all our devices.
As mentioned earlier, we've bought an antivirus/web protection software. We needed it for our office and home computers to protect ourselves on the internet. This was a two-part project actually. We used a competing product's free tier and wanted to upgrade to the premium version, but wanted to conduct short research before committing ourselves to a paid subscription. The reviewed software was also great but the prices were on the higher end so we postponed the antivirus/web protection software selection. Recently we bought office equipment and because of a Lenovo + McAfee partnership we were offered a great deal for one year, unlimited devices. That's when we jumped in.
  • Great selection of competing products.
  • Honest reviews of real users, that we can really trust.
  • The website has great UX, with easy navigation and great search functionality.
  • Would need a category for WordPress related software.
  • Needs more open source software reviews.

TrustRadius has been a great resource for us for a while now. What I especially like about it, is that they are constantly looking for reviews for software that aren't very popular yet or do not have a decent amount of reviews. This helps a lot to make well-informed decisions when it's time to buy new software. Also, it's great for starting companies to gain some exposure.
I have very limited experience with the analyst reports, but they should give great insight and a glance into what software should you consider and include in your shortlist for further research.
It is very important to us that the pricing of a product is an accurate reflection of its feature set. A great product that is not affordable will be out of the question for use, but a cheap one that does not have the minimal features we require has no use either. We're looking for a balance between features, pricing, reviews, and integrations. When all our requirements are met, that's an easy buy. Sometimes, when we can't check all the boxes, but the software seems promising, we'll go for an evaluation.
TrustRadius is a great place to find real user reviews of software. It's a great resource for individual users and entrepreneurs too. As a WordPress developer, I would like to see more reviews from the WP ecosystem. More premium WordPress plugin reviews, web design, and development tool reviews, and more open-source software comparisons. Otherwise, it's almost perfect.
