Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

We looked at FullStory as well since we already used it but in a lower-tier account. Our contract with FullStory was up for renewal which prompted us to explore alternate solutions as we're in the process of a total rewrite of our frontend and backend. This opportunity to evaluate the existing solution against competitive platforms was a good exercise for our team.
Our company has been using FullStory for several years and many business units make use of the tool. The main users are our product design team, product engineering team, and support team. While we did find limitations with the product, we were generally satisfied with it. When the vendor started the renewal conversation, it prompted a process within our company to review if this existing solution was the best one within our tech stack or if an alternative was better for our needs. We had 6 people on the team reviewing the products available and the whole process took 9 weeks.
  • The ability to find customer stories in our vertical.
  • Being able to connect with use cases and case studies for products we're evaluating.
  • TrustRadius for Buyers provides a consistent and reliable experience.
  • Since some reviews can be incentivized, it's hard to determine their legitimacy.
  • Some reviews are older and might not be relevant to the product if it has undergone a major design and functionality changes.
  • G2
  • TrustRadius
  • Gartner Peer Insights (GPI)
G2 and TrustRadius are pretty similar and while we use both, we find ourselves relying on TrustRadius more often than G2 because of how user-friendly the interface is and it also seems to have more quality reviews. We also look at GPI for analyst recommendations but find that real-world reviews provide the best data for our teams.
We have looked at Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave Reports in our initial buying process; it helps us determine which vendors we want to evaluate based on where they fit within the analyst charts. Beyond that, we rely heavily on reviews and insights from studies on sites like TrustRadius to help us make our decision.
We have an elaborate review and scoring process when it comes to making a final decision and that includes; - Uptime and reliability - Support speed of response and availability - Integrations and API Controls - Analyst Product Reviews - Customer Stories - Product Demo - Pricing - Cloud vs On-Prem Installation - Security Certifications (SOC2, FIPS, etc...)
Generally speaking, the reviews on TrustRadius for Buyers are consistent, high quality, and reliable. The only point that makes me and others in my company question the transparency of some reviews is that reviewers are sometimes provided with tangible incentives to write reviews. Otherwise, we rely on TrustRadius for Buyers as one of the KPIs when evaluating a product to add to our tech stack or replace an existing one.
