Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

I considered an in=house custom-built solution for managing calendar invitations. However, reading reviews on TrustRadius for Calendly made it clear that the same functionality may be purchased easily rather than building in-house from scratch. The other in-house option that I considered involved the Calendar API available via Google Calendar for Developers.
The most recent project I worked on was for calendar integrations to provide the product users with an easy mechanism to reach out to the support staff by booking a meeting directly into the calendar. The objective was to provide real-time visibility into the calendars to book a quick 30-minute meeting, without the need for any back and forth to align the schedules. For this project, 6 people were involved in all. The research and purchase decision took less than a month, end-to-end.
  • Filter and read into the low rated reviews to identify red flags.
  • Headings provided by reviewers usually sets the theme they're covering in much detail.
  • Different sections with review that cover specific details such as FAQs and Pricing.
  • Sorting of the default view of reviews since the initial reviews can play a big role in decisions.
  • More visibility into what went into certain product's score for the rating it has.
  • Help secure great deals on the softwares for which reviews are available.
  • G2
  • TrustRadius
Software categorization and alternatives to a particular software is one area where TrustRadius excels over G2. Also, TrustRadius eliminates biases by being a no-ad platform. In other words, since TrustRadius doesn't sell paid placements or leads, the product companies have no chance of skewing the results and the good reviews can be received only if the trusted community backs up a particular product.
I haven't used them in the past. I find reading through reviews on TrustRadius a much more easier and efficient way to review the products that I am considering buying.
Though the overall score is a good indicator, for me it's important to read into the low-rated reviews for any particular product. Apart from that, I find the features scorecard particularly useful. The external video links, which usually are on YouTube are also a great way to get more information on the product quickly without me requiring to search afresh on another medium. I also frequently use other similar software suggestions to check what alternatives look like.
TrustRadius is a single-stop shop to quickly get information on any software and establish its common use cases, and even more importantly establish if the claims made in marketing promotions are legitimate in the first place. TrustRadius, as the name signifies, is out there to create trust with reviews received and vetted from a trusted community of product users.
