Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
As this is the time for cloud technologies, we were also planning the data migration from old storage devices to the cloud, mostly AWS FSx and S3. Since the cloud can get very expensive if proper planning is not done, we were looking for a solution that can perform data analytics and data migration to make sure only the data that is actively being used is migrated to the cloud and most important to the right tier. So in order to achieve this, we did POC for Starfish, Igneous, NetApp Cloud Sync, and Komprise. Afterward, we selected Komprise and Cloud SYNC as the best product which served our requirements.
We worked on the POC for Komprise as we were looking for a Data Analytics and Data Migration product as we have been planning on migrating the data from on-premises to the AWS cloud platform. After doing extensive testing and validating our use cases, we found Komprise to be very useful since it was easy to use and the interface was very user-friendly requiring minimal efforts in managing its infrastructure. Our team consisted of 4 people who worked on the POC and made the final decision of purchasing the product. The whole process took around 3 months from POC to finalizing the purchase.

Compared to Gartner, I found TrustRadius site to be more user-friendly and easy to navigate. Looking for a product based on the requirements is easier on TrustRadius If I do the same search on Gartner. The compare feature on TrustRadius allows you to search for the product however, on Gartner it needs to be selected from a drop which depending upon the number can take some time.
To be honest, I didn't find them very useful because most of the data that has been mentioned is based on users' reviews based on their personal experience which is good to get a positive feeling about the product but, it was missing some key details like feature list, scope, pricing, support, etc.
We do perform thorough research before selecting a product and having a good number of user reviews is always a plus point. Apart from that, we check for the product pricing and how easy it is for the product to integrate with existing infrastructure along with the value it will bring.
TrustRadius has been a very big help when it comes to shortlisting products based on our requirements and with the help of the comparison feature we can do a quick evaluation of which products provides more features and better pricing. This greatly helps in going forward with only those products which fulfill most of our needs.
