Overall Satisfaction with Tungsten Power PDF
The product is used every day with high frequency as the “go to” for PDF document management. The product works. Every time. All the time. Seamless and quick. Staff particularly favor the option to combine multiple documents from various formats into a single, unified PDF document. They also appreciate the PDF editing capabilities as they are robust and stable.
Pros

Cons
- Sometimes the software updates don’t make sense. Staff are encouraged to wait at least a month before downloading and installing updates.
- The PDF converter which is supposed to covert PDF to Word format is lackluster at best and makes frequent mistakes on complex documents.
- The PDF editor is robust but doesn’t deal well with images.
- Saved from purchasing Adobe!
- Probably save 10-20 hours a week in manually printing then scanning multiple documents into single PDF documents.

The product is incredibly user-friendly. Load at initial install was easy. Product now loads in the background at startup and does not seem to require a lot of resources, but I could toggle that feature off if needed. I'm particularly pleased with the "sidebar" features that appear when you right-click on a document (or series of documents) that allows you to combine all the documents you clicked on into a single PDF document, including customizing the sequence of the documents!
I initially selected Tungsten Power PDF because it was more affordable; however, I soon discovered the features and stability of the Tungsten product was comparable to working directly within the Adobe environment. I feel very confident now, that I would select Tungsten Power PDF ABOVE any of the Adobe products and not just because of the price point!

Tungsten Power PDF editor has proven very valuable, as has the direct converter to Microsoft Word. I use the "combine files as one PDF" feature no less than a dozen times per day, every day that I work. I also appreciate the ability to "save on the fly" as a PDF, embedded within the Word document menu.
