Overall Satisfaction with Turbonomic, an IBM Company

We are using Turbonomic in IT as our primary Application Resource management. We use the IBM cloud suite in our company for IaaS and so we expected the Turbonomic integration to be flawless, which was the case. We use Turbonomic to have full-stack visibility of our applications to optimize the performance of our virtual machines. We are also using the software analytics engine to view our application's exposed data.
  • It works well in reducing resource congestion in our cloud environment with smooth migrations.
  • It automatically manages cloud resources with no downtimes boosting our productivity IT-wise.
  • It's an uphill task to turn off some unneeded features eg unused monitors.
  • We have adequate resources to manage our applications and the general server environment.
  • We streamline our cloud footprint efficiently at low costs.
  • Auto updates saves time.

Having the vital apps registering high performance is of much importance to us, and so with IBM Turbonomic we can properly identify faulty machines from the monitor and fix the issues (saves us some good money on deployments in the long run). It has provided us with critical insights on resource utilization on all server management levels.
Our IT staff productivity has improved and by really great margins. This has been through the automation of processes and automatic performance analyses. We on the other hand just work on fixing faulty deployments and pick insights from performance reports. IBM Turbonomic fills the gap between machine deployments and monitoring for the IT team.
As I have mentioned before we are saving a good amount of money from cloud expenses and virtual infrastructure costs. It's even more economical since we were using the IBM cloud suite already. By factoring out all possible server management issues, we cut down the average costs per server by good margins.
Turbonomic IBM has been great in managing the utilization of our virtual machine with the operations manager feature. It's also incredible in the optimization of cloud storage for data retrieval by improving performance. With Turbonomic we have a better understanding of our virtual machines infrastructure. I however admit that wrapping your head around it is a complex journey but with more training you become experts.
