Overall Satisfaction with Twilio SendGrid

We use Twilio SendGrid in order to get notification emails into client's inbox. We rely on their system, since our own mailing server is not that efficient. I think developers should just work with important issues, rather than leading with technical mailing problems.
SendGrid is a cheap option we found useful and we keep using.
  • Send messages to inbox, not to spam.
  • Validating sender address.
  • Statistics.
  • I'd like to get some statistics regarding each email's info that can be vetted.
  • Reduce time effort.
  • Reduce investment to start.
  • Increased user interaction.
Honestly, for the specific usage I made (sending notifications through email) both did pretty well. In terms of this specific task, I don't see much difference, rather than comparing the free plans.
Maybe there are differences in other features we have never used. I know Twilio SendGrid is a very strong tool, so this comparison may not be very interesting to analyze.

It's great to send internal or notification emails. Best way to address this issue is with an external provider like Twilio SendGrid.
For newsletter (no segmented) maybe another option would be better.
It's easy to integrate in code. In our case, PHP. Easy to setup and start with the free plan.

So far it has been working good. Unless a better option appears, we will keep using it.
