Overall Satisfaction with UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform

My organization uses UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform to implement automation solutions for our clients. The main business problem that UiPath targets is how can we enable our clients to reduce reliance on human capital, unlock higher efficiency and quality of operations and enable them to scale beyond what was possible with manual processing

Pros

  • Has a large library of pre-built UiPath activities that can be utilized, meaning you do not have to start building robotic solutions from scratch
  • The UI is user-friendly and reminicent of the MS Visual Studio so experienced .NET framework developers will feel right at home
  • Easy to record interactions with web, desktop and citrix applications and scrape data from web interfaces means development time is sped up significantly

Cons

  • Automation solution debugging capabilities and features could be enhanced to make it easier for developers and identify, validate and ammend code
  • The attribute matching could be improved to allow for more flexibility in screen identification
  • Overall workflow layout could be improved as navigating a massive solution through nested components may be inconvenient and you may not get a comprehensive helicopter view
  • Reduction of FTEs and reliance on human capital being available
  • Reduction of human error within business data
  • Business processes are faster, more efficient and are able to scale
I chose to use Uipath Enterprise RPA Paltform primarily because it is the current market leader in the RPA field. I also like UiPath because of the level of development speed, flexibility and scalability it provides that is unrivalled by other RPA tools, which are only now catching up with UiPath.
I give this rating because I believe that the overall support for UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform is great - the tool has extensive documentation available online to help with setting up, managing and using the tool. It also has free courses available online through the UiPath academy which help upskill the team. If more support is needed, UiPath is easy to reach via email.

UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform is very well suited for small to medium enterprises who want to scale up operations. Especially ones that have a strong and well-established in-house IT and Development team. It may be less suited for large enterprises or industries where data security and encryption plays a crucial role.
