Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

We use UKG Pro for our HR, Payroll, Perf. Mgmt, Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits processes.
  • Employee Self-Service - easy for employees to update their own records
  • Manager Self-Service - easy and paperless for managers to submit job/salary/earnings/terminations for their direct reports
  • Recruiting - easy for HR Generalists to recruit for open positions
  • Onboarding - easy for newly hired candidates to get all their paperwork completed before starting their new job
  • Benefit Administration - limited functionality around benefit plans, types
  • Increased costs/time savings with Manager Self-Service & Employee Self-Service functionality
  • Ability for HR Dept. to go paperless using the document upload feature to keep all employee documents (i.e., HR employee files, new hire signed documents, etc.) attached to the employees' records
  • Ability to have integration directly in the Recruiting Module with employee background check vendor
Ceridian had a far less robust benefit administration at the time we were implimenting a new product

UKG Pro is a very user-friendly product and the fact that they update based on client ideas is remarkable as the users are going to give the best suggestions to make the product work more efficiently.
We were able to go from a hand written Personnel Action Form for employee job/salary/earnings/terminations changes to a fully paperless system using the Manager & Employee Self-Service feature. The ability to create conditional workflow to the business processes makes all the diference.
I believe with companies that don't have a lot of complicated benefit plans with specific rules the Benefit Administration in UKG Pro is sufficient. This product is well suited also for companies withihn the US and even companies not in a lot of states.
