Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

We went from using ADP (serving as a PEO) to UKG Pro effective March 1, 2022. The planning for the change started well before that, in 2021. We are a small department, and thus it's taking a little more time for us to accomplish everything. We have to install the individual modules that fit our business case, one at a time. And that's OK! We're getting through it, and it has made each of us appreciate the thoughtfulness that went through the development of this program. From the programs themselves to the inclusive training, the organization has attempted to make it "Stupid-Proof," and it has been.
  • Time entry/collection
  • Payroll
  • Recruitment
  • Onboarding
  • Sometimes I think the terminology being used is somewhat outdated
  • The recruiting module doesn't seem to be as "user-friendly" as other products we've used
  • The onboarding module is a little confusing
  • Pro: UKG Pro has produced a way for the employees to interact more effectively
  • Pro: UKG Pro's broad reporting capabilities has provided us with a great deal of resource
  • Con: While UKG Pro does have a large reporting capacity, the naming conventions used leaves somewhat to be desired
This is more difficult to address because I was not heavily involved with the front-end evaluation of other products.

Do you think UKG Pro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with UKG Pro's feature set?

Yes

Did UKG Pro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of UKG Pro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy UKG Pro again?

Yes

Once we were able to get on the same page with the product and all that it offered, it made it so much easier to continue adding each of the other modules that we wanted to use and needed to use. The data flow is so much easier once you've gotten in and are using it as you grow within it.
Payroll expense and processing have been the two characteristics (modules) of the program that has allowed us to see our expenses, understand the interactions/integrations with other entities, and communicate with everyone throughout the integration process.
The reporting functions that are provided have made tracking staffing much more effective. And we have a clearer understanding of our payroll expectations.
