Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

UKG Pro [(formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)] is used across the whole organization. It addresses many process. We use UKG for HRIS, Talent Management, Benefits Administration, Payroll Processing, Time and Attendance, Recruiting and Onboarding, Compliance and Reporting.

  • BI Reports could be more user friendly to build from scratch.
  • Open Enrollment Reports could be more inclusive to include the past elections and new elections summary and if they were declined all together.
  • UKG Case Management Notifications are not always sent out to users.
  • Past OE Sessions need a closed button and should be able to make changes once closed.
  • Cost/time saving.
  • Ability to manage all HR activities under one platform.
  • Ability to maintain local, state, and federal compliance.
We have been able to centralize forms under people assist, like flexible work arrangement forms, COVID related compliance, etc.
UKG Pro [(formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)] is more user friendly, has a easier interface, more features, better compliance.

UKG Pro [(formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)] is best suited in Organizations that have 50 or more employees. It works well for multilayered organizations like healthcare companies, accounting firms, organizations with unions etc. I wouldn't recommend for small mom and pop organizations or start-up organizations.

Yes, for me. There are some platforms that could benefit from LIVE or 1x1 training.

I've worked with UKG for more than 7 years, it's familiar and I've become a subject matter expert. There aren't many platforms that are scalable to our firm and provide one solution for all our needs.

Scalability and ease of use is of the upmost importance, but you have to have good customer service/support service to support the product.

UKG Pro Implementation

Configuring UKG Pro

For some it may be too complexed, but that wasn't an issue for us.
Take plenty of notes on your own.
Yes - we have customized the interface extensively - Pretty easy once you have someone walk you through the first one.
Yes - we have added extensive custom code - Pretty easy

UKG Pro Support

I would give it a 4. The wait time to reach an agent for assistance is far too long, at times you could wait 2 weeks before getting someone to reach out about a case. The amount of cues you have to go through to get to the right specialist and the follow up for complex concerns needs improvement. There are a handful of extremely knowledgeable agents, but if you aren't lucky to get them, then you are likely going to be steered in the wrong direction or not given clear directions which will not resolve your issue in the first call. There has been far too many times that a representative will hang up or intentionally drop the call when challenged or during conflict.

Yes - No, there have been times where there was a known bug via email communication from UKG. Once I reported the effects to our environment, several support representatives were unaware of the bug or a solution. I've sat on multiple calls for long hours only to find the troubleshooting done did not clear the issue.
Yes, anytime I speak to Andrew Evans and when going through PPACA and People Assist. Every specialist was well knowledgeable and provided exceptional and timely service to me.
