Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

UltiPro is used by the HR department (in administrative roles) for HR, benefits, payroll, and time reporting. All employees have self service. The data is used to integrate into additional platforms as UltiPro houses our official employee records.

  • Great Reporting
  • Free unlimited training
  • Platform sophistication - Time reporting and Benefits are too simplistic.
  • Effective dating across the entire product.
  • More sophisticated workflow options with configurable notifications on a per workflow basis.
Oracle requires huge development investments and extensive testing. The platform requires constant monitoring, and personal handling of bug fixes, patches, and upgrades. UltiPro is much more simplistic and doesn't require as much maintenance. You don't have to manage the hardware and software and the database like you have to do with Oracle.
Not well suited to elaborate and complicated benefits plans and offerings. Not well suited to a complex payroll structure or with many countries. Not well suited for customers with extremely high expectations of the platform and the support. The platform is simple and straightforward and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles for a reason.
