Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

UltiPro is being used across the organization. We have implemented manager and employee self service. Employees are able to update their address, W4, contacts, and benefits.

Pros

  • Their core payroll is very user friendly. Easy to process payroll.
  • With minimal training, able to generate simply BI reports.
  • Ability to change language preference in Ultipro Web.

Cons

  • Benefits Enrollment - not interactive for the user.
  • Changes to an export - seems to be a big production than it needs to be.
We have been with Ultipro for many years so it has been quite a while since we were with another company or reviewed their product. The biggest problem I had with our previous payroll system, JDE, was their customer support personnel were not payroll certified so they fully didn't understand payroll needs.
Ask about the ease of which a novice can implement changes. System knowledge of the support representatives--they should have a an Fundamental Payroll (FPC) or Certified Payroll (CPP) certification to understand payroll lingo.
