Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

It is used by our organization as whole. However, we are very decentralized. It has helped with reporting, all on the same platform. Prior to using UltiPro, we were using different payroll providers. Also, information is more transparent and we are able to provide additional reporting not previously available.
  • Reporting - for us operating in a decentralized environment has allowed us better reporting.
  • We have had some issues with payment services. We aren't sure where we can get adequate training to minimize the issues. We've had representatives go over with us certain procedures yet we still have issues. To the point that one of our companies would prefer to go back to ADP. They feel it's too much self-service for them.
We were using multiple payroll providers. One reason, we selected Ultipro because of the reporting capabilities it provided.
One question is to decide how much the company wishes to be involved in the self-service. I know UltiPro can also act more like an ADP product but from some customers I have encountered weren't too happy with that. However, for us, I don't think we were prepared for how much self-service it would be. Also, for any implementation, it's as good as the data you put in and it's important prior to implementation that some best practices be in place and data cleaned up.
