Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

Ultipro is being used across the whole organization. It has been a consolidation of systems that has reduced redundant data entry and associated errors. The implementation of workflows has reduced paper processes and increased efficiency. The implementation of onboarding has been very useful with helping us to manage turnover. Our maturing use of the business intelligence tools has provided better information for management decision making compared to what was available in the past.
  • Ultipro HR and Payroll work off of the same set of tables. This is a real strength as it allows for consistent information between functions.
  • The business intelligence capabilities associated with the system are very powerful. It seems they can be taken about as far as the skill of the user will allow.
  • As a company, I have appreciated that they don't promise more than they can deliver. There are things that I want from the software that are not yet available, that I have communicated to them, and I appreciate straight answers that we can plan around.
  • The software development timeline for the ACA products was very short, thanks to the government. Because of that, I found the ACA product to be challenging to work with and in need of improvement.
  • The newer version of the recruiting tool is good, but immature. We look forward to continued enhancements.
Because the product is flexible and can be configured to meet the needs of a company, it is essential to have knowledgeable people in the company. If you make uninformed configuration decisions about your own implementation, it can bite you.

UltiPro Training

  • Online training
  • In-person training
  • Self-taught
The in-person is great, but the online is pretty much just as good, so hard to justify the in-person.
It is very detailed and accessible. The only complaint is the intense level of detail at times can make it hard to get to the parts that you actually really need the training on.

Configuring UltiPro

UltiPro Support

There is a very structured approach to customer support and as long as you understand and work within that framework, it is great.

At times, when I have stumped them, it takes a little while to get satisfactory resolution.
