Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

We use it for the HRIS portion, the Recruiting and Performance management of employees based in the US. The issue though is the system is not made for global operations as we hire non-US employees who work outside the United States.
For instance, international employees who are not US-nationals cannot be recruited and onboarded seamlessly without using manual entry for the onboarding portion because of the requirement to enter a social security number.

The performance assessment portion is good but it comes in only one language which again makes it difficult if not impossible to deploy to international staff who speak Spanish or French as primary language.

  • Employee's profiles fields are great and can encompass a lot of information about the employees and have the self-entry options.
  • Reporting is somewhat good if you can manage to insert the data you need from the get go. The pre-built reports do not answer my needs usually.
  • It is not a system that supports global operations or non-US employees.
  • I tried to export I-9s records for an audit but the system does not support that function.
  • I find it limited and limiting to me as a Global HR Sr. Manager supervising operations in 25 countries, I need my staff to be able to access the system, the time-sheets, the performance...etc. The browser has been an issue.
Do you have a process to bypass the i-9 when not hiring a US person?

UltiPro Implementation

Make sure all HR team members are involved in the entire process from A-Z.
