Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
UltiPro is our HCM vendor used for all HR/payroll and benefits within our organization. Ultimate is used by all members of our organization because employees use it for making benefit elections and during annual enrollment when changing their personal information, etc.
[It's] one single platform for all HR business functions.
- Our support team is wonderful. They are always available to answer our questions. No question is too big or small for them. They never make you feel like a bother.
- The platform itself once you've completed configuration during implementation is very easy to use. They keep with the times and make semi-annual updates.
- Ultimate is willing to listen to your ideas and during the semi-annual releases will tell you whether this was a user idea or not.
- Sometimes system configuration can be a little bit limited. System configurable fields aren't always usable.
- Many times Ultimate only thinks inside of the box, they don't think outside or try to come up with ideas on how to make things work. One of the BEST things about Ultimate is the Customer Success Portal because you can talk with other Ultimate users to come up with ideas on how to make things work.
- Consolidating HR administration under a single solution
We absolutely have achieved the single platform problem that we had previously.
UKG Pro Feature Ratings
Using UltiPro
2000 - Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Accounting, everyone.
4 - I would say that we have 4 people who support Ultipro internally. Which would be one from HRIS, Payroll & Benefits. There really are more people who utilize the benefit but the support is really only 4.
- We utilize UltiPro for all of our HR related transactions.
- We utilize UltiPro for all of our Payroll transactions.
- We utilize UltiPro for all of our Benefits transactions.
- Initially we didn't use the Onboarding process, but we have recently began using this functionality and it appears to be working well. I don't have any part of that process.
- I know that it is being looked at for the Annual Review functionality.
- Maybe we can look at the Leave of Absence functionality.
Evaluating UltiPro and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Product Reputation
- Prior Experience with the Product
- Third-party Reviews
I think one of the most important factors when selecting UltiPro was the product usability. We have many users across the Firm who don't have any HR or Benefits background. They are lawyers, technology, legal people, etc. We needed UltiPro to be easy to use and understand.
We might ask some additional questions, because things that we didn't think were customizations were within the UltiPro world.
UltiPro Implementation
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled
- I don't think that we asked enough questions.
- Too many of our items that we thought were 'normal' are not 'normal' in the UltiPro way of doing things.
- Implemented in-house
UltiPro Training
Yes, but I had prior UltiPro experience.
- Online training
- Self-taught
Configuring UltiPro
Think about all of the little things that you currently do now and then ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask the questions.
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - We have done a couple of customizations and they went pretty smoothly.
Make sure that you think everything through and talk to others on your team before signing off on a customization plan.
